You’ll find community here. We blend in-person meetups with our live on-line small groups and StMagdaMass zoom worship gatherings.
You’ll also find challenge here. We hold each other to account, to walk the walk and not just talk the talk, for social justice ACTION.
Our Story
StMagda grew out of our social justice group. We’ve increased our impact and grown closer by blending in-person and zoom.
Why not fully focus on the social gospel, blending live and online? Thank you to all who have helped create StMagda and our inaugural StMagdaMass.
Although we are faith-based, inspired by the social gospel of Jesus in the Christian (Catholic) tradition, StMagda is open to all, united by our common humanity.

Let’s make Sunday morning zoom Mass the best 40 minutes of our week. A high energy, highly-interactive online Mass, with live zoom-breakouts throughout. Less spectate, more participate. Less recitation, more conversation. Each zoom Mass is offered for social justice action and we hold each other to account for our promises made, with a progress-update zoom invite at +2 weeks and a report-out zoom at +4 weeks, or we can self-report at any time by tagging StMagda on social media #StMagda4you

Wednesday evening Group is our chance for a brief 40-minute mid-week online check-in, for social and support. We can get to know a small group of our fellow StMagda zoom friends who come together regularly to socialize and share our faith journeys.

Our gift Offertory at every StMagda Mass is our chance to crowdfund a cause. StMagda is an “80:20” offertory. A full 80% of the net after expenses goes to our social justice partners, with the balance to grow StMagda. My “Monthly Subscribe” supports all our social justice partnerships.
